600X

600X

The innovative 600X sets a new standard for multi-crop small grain headers in every critical area: Changeover between crops can be done in less than 3 minutes without the need for tools. Grain loss is typically less than 1% in rapeseed* thanks to the longest extendable table on the market. And, all the controls are fully integrated with automatic functions for easy set up. It’s the perfect header for operators who need fast switching between crops and variable conditions.

Key Features

The 600X offers innovative features which give you clear advantages:

More time in the field

Fast crop conversion in less than 3 minutes means you can react faster to changing crop conditions in different crops and harvest that crop which is ready at the moment.

Catching more grain

The industry leading 800mm table range, (400 – 1200mm) means true productivity: Very often when harvesting the crop height can vary tremendously depending where in the field it is. With the 600X you harvest and change the table length on the go. This results perfect smooth feeding with no bunching of the crop which could affect the harvesting capacity of the combine. The 1200mm extension equals the length of a professional rape extension and ensures low shatter losses, typically less than 1%.

With no belts and no filler plates to mount, switching to rapeseed is quick. Just remove the divider and install the mechanical side knives.

Green on Green Solution

Green on Green Solution - The table length can be adjusted on the joystick. the Table Length Advisor gives you the right table length for your crop. The integrated software can also advise on the perfect table position for the operator depending on crop length and desired stubble height. All positions can be saved on the resume buttons on the joystick to easily recall the right setting for cutting height, table length, reel height / fore and aft.

Superb night-time visibility

If your harvest is running into the night there’s no need to slow down. With the optional stubble lights you can see how well you’re cutting right through the night.

Integrated toolbox

An optional toolbox holds valuable items like knives or finger sections to have them on hand in case needed after hitting a stone.

Lightweight clip-on side knives

Weighing just 15kg the side knives are a 1/3 of the weight of traditional rapeseed knives. As they are driven mechanically no large motor is mounted on the top which reduces shaking and wear.

Excellent ground following

With Automatic Height Control sensors placed close to the cutterbar knives (4 on smaller headers and 6 sensors on headers 10.70m and larger), the 600X hugs every contour, picking up crop in the most challenging conditions.

High capacity auger

On headers 10.70m and larger, the auger is split at the centre for smoother crop flow when harvesting high yield crops. The special auger flight design and sealing prevents wrapping at the auger bearing.

Smooth direct drive knives

The knives are driven by shafts instead of belts or chains. It increases the lifetime due to reduced wear as well as improved reliability. On the 10.70m and larger headers it is a split knife which is driven from both ends in a synchronised manner which reduces stresses on the knife drives and cutting speed can be maintained in difficult, wetter conditions.
